Outdoor yoga in headphones: the park becomes your studio
Outdoors your voice fades and the music bothers passers-by. In headphones every participant hears you as if indoors, and the surroundings stay quiet: lawns, beaches, rooftops and courtyards become places to truly practise.

Outside, your voice does not reach everyone
Outdoors there are no walls to bounce the sound back: your voice drops within a few metres, the wind carries it off, and a speaker loud enough for the back row is unpleasant for the front row and for everyone walking through the park.
With headphones every mat is in the front row. You speak normally, the music stays in the background, and passers-by see a group practising in silence. In parks, seafronts and shared courtyards it is also the simplest way to avoid noise complaints from the neighbours.
What it solves outdoors
Wind and traffic stop mattering
Your voice goes straight to the ear: no words lost when a bus goes by or the wind picks up.
Sunrise and sunset, no disturbance
Classes at six in the morning on a rooftop or at sunset on the beach, without waking anyone.
Walk between the mats
With the portable transmitter in your pocket you move among students to adjust a posture and keep talking to everyone.
Large groups, calm voice
Ten people or two hundred: your voice reaches each of them the same way.
No sockets, no cables
Transmitter and headphones run on batteries: all you need is a lawn, not a sound system.
Several classes on one lawn
One channel per teacher: up to three classes a few metres apart, without overlapping.
How to organise a class in the park
Choose the spot
Shade in the hot hours, flat ground, an easy meeting point. Check the rules of the park or beach.
Test the kit the day before
Headphones and transmitter arrive charged. Check playlist and microphone calmly, at home or in the studio.
Hand out on arrival
One headphone each, already on the right channel. A test hello for the volume and off you go.

Tips for practising outdoors
- Lights and sunset. As the light fades, the headphone LEDs look stunning; during the final relaxation they switch off.
- Starting volume. Ask everyone to start at a medium volume: outdoors people tend to turn it up too much.
- A helper. With large groups it helps to have someone handing out headphones and welcoming latecomers.
- Permits. Classes in public parks, beaches and squares may need a permit: the rules vary from town to town, so check first.

Questions about outdoor yoga
What if it rains?
The headphones are not designed for water: if it rains, move the class indoors or postpone it. If you have a backup date, mention it in your quote request.
Does the sun damage the headphones?
Hours of direct sun are not good for any electronic device: keep them in the shade or in their cases until you hand them out.
How far can I walk away?
Portable transmitters reach up to 300 metres in open spaces: far more than a class in the park needs.
Do I need a permit for yoga in the park?
It depends on the town and the place: some group activities in public areas need a permit. Headphones solve the noise problem, but the permit has to come from whoever manages the space.
